Transformation of this place is amazing. I still remember how I played there as a child. It was a deep ravin densely forested with tiny lake at the bottom. In the summer we played Indians and cowboys or were fishing in the lake and in the winter we skid down on sledge. Slope was so steep we called it the death path. This savage place got totally civilized but still serves the same purpose to local community.

Nice alternative to tablets and mobile phones for people of all ages. Very good skate park, climbing nets, sand pit with toys for little ones, bike and roller skates/scooters paths. Brilliant highway code training town for little ones with signs and traffic lights. Bule pitch and plenty outside gym machines. Monkey bars and other gymnastic equipment to train parkour and acrobatics. Free toilet which need a little more attention as no water to wash hands, however there is another toilet open till 17.00 by the town market, other side of the car park. City bikes available for rent in the car park. Bike fix / pump station located in the park. Drinks and food available from nearby shops. You can easily spend all day here with your family if wheatear allows.
